It
all started in September 2002 when I decided I
wanted others to be as educated as myself. I had
been fortunate enough to receive a good
education with the aid of my parents, some
private schools and a “red-brick”
university. Having arrived at the end of the
education system I realised I was one of the
lucky few.
Kippers Tutoring & Consultancy is a family business, where we provide a professional yet friendly service. We
believe that through hard work, team work and
doing the home work all can achieve success.
In
February 2006 we opened our
education centre at Smallfield in Surrey. The education centre is part of our families home and we have three study rooms and a lounge which provide a balance of family
and professional environment.
Our study rooms have wideboards, wireless internet and a range of recommended texts for study.
In
July 2006 we changed all of our tutoring
products to be course specific. All GCSE and
A-levels now follow the exact syllabus as
published by either AQA, Edexcel, OCR or WJEC
examination boards. This ensures all students
remain focused towards their goals of achieving
their desired grades. We offer over 130
examination courses as part of our products. All
can be tailored to the individuals needs or
expanded for group lessons.
September
2006 we decided to become a selective education
centre. The criterion to be selected is simple -
demonstrate your willingness to learn. We still
accept students at foundation levels or who have
learning difficulties. It matters not how far
behind the students are but the fact they want
to learn.
In September 2008 we put in place a student performance monitoring system. Every week student progress is reviewed and their individual lessons plans are altered to ensure their needs are always met. This systems allows us to more readily predict student performance in exams thus ensuring they are always headed in the right direction.
We believe at Kippers that we offer the best learning experience for all of our students and we are the UKs leading tutoring company. In January 2010 we are further enhancing our service by providing a path to an engineering carrer that starts with GCSEs and finishes with the student becoming a fully qualified contract engineer.
Wether you are a GCSE student or a graduate engineer we look forward to working with you.
Kindest
Regards,
Richard
